Our patented Cartridge System, allows the natural flow of urine through the trap, and renews the liquid seal with each use.
Every time the urinal is used the liquid seal is renewed, getting rid of old urine in the system.

Current waterless urinals use a blue gel to stop the bad odor from urine have flaws and limitations of their performance and are expensive to maintain. Once the gel sealant is compromised the cartridge has to be replaced in order to avoid extremely offensive smells.
The only urinal cartridge that allows waterless urinals to be washed and cleaned with the use of water, regular cleaners, disinfectants and or sanitizers without compromising the seal that prevents bad odors. This dramatically increases hygiene.

I’m buying a second one after nearly 2 years. It works as advertised and is much cheaper and environmentally conscious and the standard cartridges. I clean it every few months by pouring down some Drano followed by a gallon of water then gently washing the urinal with standard toilet bowl gel cleaner and flushing with another gallon of water. Odor free and clear again for another 2 to 3 months. Highly recommend

As Building Engineer in charge of the functionality of a multipurposed facility I wasn't skeptical regarding the performance of this product, that it would not do as well as my previous waterless options which use the blue oil to seal out odors, however, they boasted of a longer usage time so it seemed like a good idea to at least give it a try.
They have performed, and in many ways in my opinion, have out performed the other brand options that I've used previously. With double to triple the amount of usefull product life and the ability to use cleaners without concern of damaging the cartridge this product is a great environmental and economical asset.

Its very easy to change our. you just sent it in. No wrenching and trying to get the 2 little prongs to grip inot and to turn, a urinal filter that stuck or very hard to remove is no fun. This was a 3 sec change out.

We have Sloan waterless urinals in our office building, and we always had urine odor problems. This product fit our urinal perfectly and fixed the bad odor problem in our restrooms immediately. Our maintenance staff also like the fact that they can clean the urinals with any cleaner and only need to pour regular water for daily maintenance.

Bought several of these cartridges as we maintain a large fleet of portable bathrooms. These cartridges far underperform other waterless urinal cartridges. Sometimes they’ll clog in as little as a couple days. I had very high hopes with this cartridge and was firmly let down. Emailed the the sales staff “Gullermo” at ekcos.com and didn’t get a reply. They don’t stand by their products

Far exceeded my expectations , filter lasts a lot longer than other similar ones, and is easier to deal with than the type that use chemicals. I use them for a small office building .
